HP Insights and Strategy

HP's innovative advertising campaign called “The Computer is Personal Again” featured celebrities explaining how their HP personal computer was an integral part of their lives. HP wanted this experience to extend into the enterprise space.

HP approached Smart Design to deliver insights validating their hypothesis and to develop a go-forward strategy that would drive unique differentiation into emerging product roadmaps.

Research was conducted with the goal of understanding the challenges and needs of the enterprise customer. A detailed analysis report with recommended solutions relating to operational effectiveness, staff productivity, and product development opportunities was developed. In addition, a customer journey map was created illustrating how HP’s services were actually experienced by their customers and suggesting areas for improvement and new opportunities.
